Well little bloggie you’ve certainly been neglected! (haha i wrote this post earlier this summer in like July
keep that in mind!)
Oof I’ve been so busy this summer like you can’t believe! Really a lot of it has to do with working on my portfolio for colleges and the AP board next year and looking at colleges… Yikes! In addition to finishing a commissioned watercolor for someone (which is getting really boring btw). And i just finished reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo which was extremely intense but overall an interesting read.
So no new art at the moment, but I do have a bunch of new(er) stuff up on my deviantart page: randompandemonium.deviantart.com : from this school year if you want to take a peek.
Hmm let’s see… Lifewise been totally busy and a bit stressed but that’s not important!
Basically this is an update to this blog to say it’s not dead! I can’t think of anything else to write right now so I’ll share a bit about my recent vacation.
ohhhhhh not just any vacation. I did go to florida to the beach for a bit but i DID get to visit the wizarding world of Harry Potter in Orlando! It was AMAZING! I am THE biggest Harry Potter fan so I enjoyed every living moment I was there. Unfortunately my camera died so I can’t show all of my pictures at the moment but I can show some. But whether you read the rest of this or not, if you are a minor fan or a HUGELYGINORMOUS fan who wears their Gryffindor scarf with pride even in the heat of July you must make the pilgrimage to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando; Hereafter known as TWWoHPiO or The Harry Potter Park. Oh! And I will be going into detail so if you don’t want to be spoiled much, just skim ![]()
So, last year the family vacation happened to be to florida as well (this rarely happens when we go the same place twice in a row) and we did go to Universal Studios in Orlando. I had fun at the park then, as it had some good rollercoasters and THE shortest lines you have ever seen in your entire life. Actually the park was so empty that we (my cousin and my brother and I) went on the Hulk rollercoaster (awesomeness) and then road Dueling Dragons (which is now the Harry Potter Dragon Challenge) four times in a row! We would have ridden it fifth time, but my brother has some motionsickness issues
Actually if we had ridden it a fifth time I probably would have puked my stomach out my mouth too! But that’s not important, is it? Okay, so last year when i was there I freaked out when i saw this:
And I was really bummed that I had visited the park a year too early. BUT THEN

intervened and I was able to come this year. The actual trip this year was a trip to the beach (Atlantic side, no oil for me thankYOU) and then we at the last minute decided to round off the trip with a visit to the Harry Potter theme park. And when i found out that last minute decision i was BEYOND excited!
Long story short, I have been a fan of the Harry Potter fan since I was in the first grade. In fourth grade my teacher had a lot of trouble convincing me that there were any other good books worth reading. I have re-read all of the books at least once with the exception of Deathly Hallows which I have only read once. I own all of the movies and for the most part love them and the games are fun too. But truly I am a HUUUGE fan of the books. I have been a MuggleCast listener for a long time (Since the ‘Pickles’ episode actually) and have recently been able to listen to them again recently while I work. I know every song from A Very Potter Musical and yes there might happen to be some fanart in my DeviantArt archives So basically Harry Potter was a big part of my childhood and I still adore it.
And the trip to the park this year did not disappoint! Overall, I was THRILLED by the overall look, the rides and attention to detail!
hopefully later i will get to this and post pictures and talk about the trip!
haha but in short I’M NOT DEAD! yay!
P.S. It should be noted that I was basically on a Harry Potter high for a really long time after I got back from orlando!
